Electromagnetic energy, intuitive ‘knowing’, feeling the future… its all begins in the heart.

This is a great article that gives scientific research to
the heart brain…. something we intuitively know, and
science confirms.
In Journey Dance last week, we focused on electromagnetic energy… it is there, radiating from the heart and ‘knowing’ …without thinking.
Amazing.
With abundant love!

What Is Your Body Saying?

flex·i·ble  (flks-bl)
1. a. Capable of being bent or flexed; pliable
    b. Capable of being bent repeatedly without injury or damage.
2. Susceptible to influence or persuasion; tractable.
3. Responsive to change; adaptable

Good Monday evening friends!
Reflexion… After focusing on a week of the 5 Sensations, FAMSS, and asking my body what it needs the most right now, “Flexibility” came back again and again. Physically in my lower back, shoulders, hamstrings… I have felt tight and constricted. Mentally, in my work for the studio, for myself, my family… I have felt cluttered and crowded.
Emotionally, in my numerous relationships with friends, acquaintances, children… I have been desiring more time, frustrated by the lack of available minutes to spend with the people I love. Spiritually, I have felt rushed and not able to spend quality moments doing what brings me peace.
All the answers point to more Flexibility.

Flexibility creates more space, as energy moves out, and beyond. By bringing more flexibility to our body, the other realms follow suit. Our emotions are tempered, our mind
is relaxed, and our spirit has more space to create and
be authentic.
Flexibility opens us to positive change, to all the possibilities that life has to offer, to all that we haven’t experienced.
Let’s dance it… an hour dedicated to Flexibility. A dance that we can take into our daily lives, so positive change and dreams can manifest.
See you on the dance floor!

Oklahoma Needs Our Help

Facebook friends, family and colleagues…
As many of you know, I was born and raised in Oklahoma, a state with a ‘can-do’ attitude, even in the worst of times.
I am incredibly proud of my state, and the way people help one another in times of need. The citizens of my beautiful state have sprung into action, after yet another terrible Category 5 Tornado devastated the city of Moore yesterday, and other parts of southern Oklahoma City. Moore was wiped out in 1999 by a Category 5 Tornado and has since re-built with a can-do attitude.
Yesterday, The University of Oklahoma in Norman opened its doors to those who were left homeless… an example of the beautiful, supportive human spirit.
Three of my children live in Oklahoma, and they said it is over-whelming and sad to see the destruction. Oklahoma has known many tragedies, including the terrible bomb in downtown that set the entire nation on alert.

They need our help. Schools have been hit, homes wiped out, families left without food and clothing.
You CAN make a difference by donating to the Oklahoma Food Bank and the Red Cross diaster relief fund. The instructions are below. I just did, and it is super easy… Thank heavens for social media during these times.
After you follow the prompts on your phone, it will ask you for a reply. It is case sensitive, so use capital letters where shown. The $10 donation will appear on your cell phone bill.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and those strong Oklahoma hearts that believe in the power of the human spirit.

Please share this message through your social media contacts… let’s make a difference!
With deep love, Adelle

A Beautiful Earth Dance!

Good gorgeous Monday morning to everyone… Take a deep breath, and give thanks for our beautiful earth. A Monday morning visual to start out a great week. Sending love to all… click below!

The Power of Words

My thoughts today as I breathe in the fresh air of the Berkshires, listen to the gentle sounds of nature waking up, and reflect on words that I have transmitted and received.

Words have resonance and vibration that affect the transmitter, the receiver, and the space. Energetically, the vibration is released into the cosmos… shape shifting the energetic field of the world.
Just as our thoughts affect our actions, and shape the manifestation of our reality, spoken words have an effect that goes way beyond the moment.

I do not have a cellular understanding of the word ‘hate’ in my body. To my ears, the word sounds harsh, out of sync and dark. In my life, I have chosen not to use the word, as it does not resonate with my reality feeling. There are many things I ‘do not like,’ ‘can’t stand to do,’ ‘disgust me’… yet, do I feel the word ‘hate’ in my body, in my heart? No. That feeling is beyond my understanding… and I’m grateful.
By choosing to not express hatred, or use ‘hate’ in my language, I am making a conscious choice to shift the energy, to shape-shift my being, and ultimately to send a different energy into the cosmos.

I am choosing a different reality… infused with the emotion of love and the words that resonate with the energy of love.
Below, Madisyn speaks of another word to reflect on.
It is all love… the word of creation, acceptance, gratitude… Adelle

Failure
Choose Your Words

All you have to do is speak or read the word failure and see how it makes you feel.
The word failure puts forward a very simplistic way of thinking that allows for only two possibilities: failure or success. Few things in the universe are black and white, yet much of our language reads as if they are. The word failure signifies a paradigm in which all subtlety is lost. When we regard something we have done, or ourselves, as a failure, we lose our ability to see the truth, which is no doubt considerably more complex. In addition, we hurt ourselves. All you have to do is speak or read the word failure and see how it makes you feel.

At some point, the word may not have been so loaded with the weight of negativity, and it simply referred to something that did not go according to plan. Unfortunately, in our culture it is often used very negatively, such as when a person is labeled a failure, even though it is impossible for something as vast and subtle as a human being to be reduced in such a way. It also acts as a deterrent, scaring us from taking risks for fear of failure. It has somehow come to represent the worst possible outcome. Failure is a word so burdened with fearful and unconscious energy that we can all benefit from consciously examining our use of it, because the language we use influences the way we think and feel.

Next time you feel like a failure or fear failure, know that you are under the influence of an outmoded way of perceiving the world. When the world failure comes up, it’s a call for us to apply a more enlightened consciousness to the matter at hand. When you are consciously aware of the word and its baggage you will not fall victim to its darkness. In your own use of language, you may choose to stop using the word failure altogether. This might encourage you to articulate more clearly the truth of the situation, opening your mind to subtleties and possibilities the word failure would never have allowed.

Living Life as a Sacred Athlete

We all are Sacred Athletes of life… teachers and healers to the world… making a difference sometimes in the smallest of ways… a smile, a touch,
an acknowledgement.

Welcoming six Sacred Athletes today with a Nia White Belt!

Many are blessed by a single act of kindness.

When I observe someone being kind to another person, there are three simultaneous benefits. The person receiving the kindness feels cared for and valued. The person expressing the kindness feels the joy of giving, and of having a positive impact on another’s life.
But there is a third beneficiary of this encounter—me! When I observe an act of kindness, love and hope spring up in me. As I watch the interaction between the giver and receiver, I, too, am blessed.
With this in mind, I choose to uplift others. I demonstrate kindness, consideration, compassion, and patience—gifts from the heart—knowing the effects ripple out to bless unseen others.

The Art of Balance

I’ve been commiserating a lot with others about change, and the feelings that surround change. It seems there are a lot of people in my life who are experiencing big life changes, a breaking from habits and the ‘known’, and facing the only constant of life… change.

It’s easy to get into habits and routines, whether work-related or not. We often do not question them. They become unconscious behaviours that are easy.
Our brains prefer to take the easiest options. Habits are comfortable – even habitual unhappy work – and these habits become increasingly embedded into our ways of living and working.
To question habits and routines first requires an awareness that we might be stuck in a habit or routine. Then, changing a habitual routine requires some effort, which can be uncomfortable.
No wonder we all tend to resist change.
We might feel that life could be better, or perhaps we positively want life to be better, but doing something to change things is a different matter – especially if we’ve been in a habitual routine for a long while.
I always look to nature and her natural ways of dealing with space and time for the answers. I look at the seasons, the weather… rain/drought, cold/hot, wind/stillness. I look at the beauty of an ancient tree that loses a limb in a storm and recovers its balance by growing another one. The determination of a mother bird who travels back and forth building her nest, only to have the wind knock it down… and she starts over.
Change is indeed the only constant of life.
My blessing for you~~~ to find the balance so change is welcomed and habitual ways are kissed goodbye with a thank you.

Balance

Light/Dark, High/Low, In/Out, Up/Down, Expand/Contract, Silence/Sound, Open/Close, Right/Left, Happy/Sad, Movement/Stillness, Yin/Yang ….
Opposites that complement one another.

Do you ever intentionally play with opposites in your body, mind, and emotions? By playing with opposites, we exercise our physical, mental and emotional ‘muscles,’ so we are ready to navigate through life no matter what the circumstances.

How do you exercise your mind? Reading, exploring new ideas, taking classes, writing, meditating… dancing.
How do you exercise your emotions? Watching movies, expressing, releasing, meditating… dancing.
How do you exercise your body? Walking, running, playing a sport, working out, stretching, doing yoga… dancing.

Dancing encompasses our entire being. We have an amazing daily opportunity to exercise our body, mind, and emotions
as well as expressing our spirit, every time we step on
the dance floor.
Let’s play with opposites this week in class, finding the balance that our body craves… the place we call homeostasis, where energy is equalized both inside and out.
See you soon!
Love in the dance, Adelle
