In our second week of focusing on ‘play,’ I add the word ‘transformational.’
Nia is transformational play for the body, mind, emotions and soul.
Nia is transformational play with endless tools of knowledge, skills, concepts, and freedom.
Nia is my passion.

Come play!

ps. We’ll focus on “Self-Healing the Spine” in my Nia 5 Stages class… transformation of our beautiful column!
My classes this week: Sunday, July 26th (Today) at 4:00, Tuesday 8:00 am, Wednesday 9:15 am,
Thursday Nia 5 Stages Class 8:00 am, Fun Friday 5:30 pm, and Sunday August 2nd 4:00 pm
Play:
a free activity standing quite consciously outside ‘ordinary’ life as being ‘not serious’ but at the same time absorbing the player intensely and utterly. It is an activity connected with no material interest, and no profit can be gained by it. It promotes the formation of social groupings. Transformation: an act, process, or instance of transforming or being.
Transformational Play: Merely playing a game does not ensure that one is engaged in transformational play. Instead, people who play transformationally become protagonists who use the knowledge, skills, and concepts of the educational content to first make sense of a situation and then make choices that actually transform the play space and the player—they are able to see how that space and their body changed because of their own efforts.
