Nia Friends… the week is here! :-)

We are very excited to be introducing a fellow Nian to Texas this week. Ann Christiansen, one of Nia’s brightest lights, is coming to San Antonio for her first visit. Ann was an Olympic swimmer for her home country of Sweden, and now resides in Germany. She is a bundle of creative energy, and is respected all over Europe as a master teacher and trainer. If you have not signed up for a class and/or the playshop on Sunday with Ann, there is still room. To dance Nia with Ann is a one of a kind experience. We have space in the five classes, as well as the playshop. Information about signing up is at the bottom of this email.
There are Nia friends flying in from all over the United States and Mexico to take class with Ann. Friends from California, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Florida, Minnesota and Hawaii will be traveling to San Antonio for their first visit. Let’s give them a big Texas welcome!
I’m focusing again this week on ‘dance to the music.’ Music is key to the magic that we feel when we dance. As teachers, we gather music from our friends20around the world so we can share it with you. Combined with movement, music inspires us physically, emotionally, mentally, and encourages our spirit to soar.
Let music move you.
Music is organically present in the beat of your heart, the song of the birds, the rustle of the leaves in the wind.
Join me as we dance to the music.

In my 9:15 class this week, you will have two teachers, Erin Grue, my black belt friend from San Miguel, and moi! We are going to have a young man present filming the class for a project, so let’s pack the class!
Thursday morning, join me for a great Nia 5 Stages class at 8:00.
All Nia classes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday have changed. Please sign up in advance for Ann’s classes on those days to make our lives a little smoother… thank you!

Join kindred spirits from all over the world as we welcome Nia Black Belt trainer Ann Christiansen from Germany!
Keep the dance in your heart, Adelle
